Vegetable U-Pick Orchards in Putnam, Rockland and Westchester Counties in Southeast NY in 2024, by county

Below are the U-Pick orchards and farms for vegetables that we know of in this area. Not all areas of any state, nor even every state, have vegetables orchards that are open to the public. If you know of any others, please tell us using the add a farm form!

Remember to always check with the farm's own website or Facebook page before you go - or call or email them if they don't have a website or Facebook page. Conditions at the farms and crops can change literally overnight, so if you want to avoid a wasted trip out there - check with the farm directly before you go! If I cannot reach them, I DON'T GO!

  • Hilltop Hanover Farm and Environmental Center - No pesticides are used beans, beets, carrots, eggplant, flowers, herbs or spices, onions, peas, peppers, pumpkins, tomatoes, other vegetables, Honey from hives on the farm, Maple Syrup from trees on the farm, Fresh eggs, porta-potties are available, restrooms, picnic area, picnic area you may bring your own food, farm animals, birthday parties, school tours, events at your location (call for info)

We do not use pesticides on the crops. U-Pick opens for the season on at the end of June. Available to harvest: radishes, turnips, arugula, cilantro, dill, mint, and sage. Enjoy the harvest season by picking your own seasonal vegetables, herbs, and flowers from the fields. Get your hands dirty, talk to our farmers, and have fun! U-Pick may be closed due to inclement weather. Please call ahead if the weather looks questionable. Please bring your own bag.
