Below are the U-Pick orchards and farms for scuppernongs that we know of in this area. Not all areas of any state, nor even every state, have scuppernongs orchards that are open to the public. If you know of any others, please tell us using the add a farm form!

Types of Grapes
There are several; types of grapes:
Muscadines and Scuppernongs, Large, very sweet southern grapes with large seeds. Excellent for desserts and sweet dessert wines.
Pick ripe: Grapes do not ripen after they are picked
Appearance: Look for heavy, firm grapes
To harvest grapes, carefully cut the grape clusters from the vine using pruning shears. Be careful not to bruise or damage the fruit
or the surrounding vines.
