Below are the U-Pick orchards for grapes that we know of in this area. Not all areas of any state, nor even every state, have grapes orchards that are open to the public. If you know of any others, please tell us using the add a farm form!

Conditions at the farms and crops can change literally overnight, so if you want to avoid a wasted trip out there - check with the farm directly before you go! If I cannot reach them, I DON'T GO!

We are a family run apple orchard overlooking the Adirondack mountains and lake Champlain. On the weekends we offer tractor pulled wagon rides out to the pick your own apple trees and have apple cider donuts and sweet and ginger apple cider being pressed several times a week. We have a distillery here too where we make and age apple brandy from the apples on our orchard. Late season, Empire, Red Delicious, Golden Delicious, Liberty, Mutzu (Crispin), Northern Spy. Different apples ripen at different times, so feel free to call and see what's perfect for picking! Grape picking tips

  • Pick ripe: Grapes do not ripen after they are picked
  • Appearance: Look for heavy, firm grapes
  • To harvest grapes, carefully cut the grape clusters from the vine using pruning shears. Be careful not to bruise or damage the fruit or the surrounding vines.
