Aronia U-Pick Orchards in Cleveland, Akron and northeast Ohio in 2024, by county

Below are the U-Pick orchards and farms for aronia that we know of in this area. Not all areas of any state, nor even every state, have aronia orchards that are open to the public. If you know of any others, please tell us using the add a farm form!

Remember to always check with the farm's own website or Facebook page before you go - or call or email them if they don't have a website or Facebook page. Conditions at the farms and crops can change literally overnight, so if you want to avoid a wasted trip out there - check with the farm directly before you go! If I cannot reach them, I DON'T GO!

Comments from a visitor on June 14, 2010: "My boyfriend and I visited this farm last Sunday to pick strawberries and we definitely plan on coming back to verify out the other crops they have available. The owners were very nice and friendly, and we even got a little tour of the farm and heard about the different things they have available. When we were ready to pick berries, we were shown where to go and then left on our own, which was nice. They provide pints for you to fill up, but we brought our own container to bring the berries home in, and the owners mentioned that although they provide containers for transport, it would be nice if more people brought their own containers, so that's just a suggestion. The row of strawberries looked excellent and they tasted even better! But most of all, we really enjoyed ourselves and we were glad to see friendly farmers. I think this would be an excellent place to bring kids to have them learn a little bit about farming and have fun picking their own crops. Also, depending on where you're coming from, the drive is really nice..we drove on different roads there and back, and both routes were very scenic. I called about 2 hours ahead and spoke with the farmer, and he said depending on the weather they would be open all afternoon for pick-your-own berries. When we got there, they told us that pretty much any time they are home, they are open, but it's a good idea to call first anyway. I will definitely be returning throughout the summer! "
