    Comments from a visitor, April 14, 2008:
"After calling Favorite Farms several times, and assuring ourselves that they would be open on Sunday, 4/13/08, we took the nearly hour-long trip to get some berries. The phone message stated that they're open through 4/20/08. When we got there, the farm was closed. With several other cars there at the same time, we collectively decided to pick berries and leave money in the shack by the entrance to cover our berries. Within a few minutes, a woman in a small suv came by and told us that they're closed. She's apparently the owner. She was telling us that this was her first day off since January, she needed the day off and she wasn't opening. She told us that the honor system is not acceptable and didn't seem to care that we had driven an hour for the berries nor that they phone message stated that they were open. We did call before we went and I called several times while we were standing there. The phone message still stated that they were open through April 20, 2008. Just thought you would like the feedback on this farm."
A visitor offers this advice, March 31, 2008:
"Cost for strawberries are 2 quarts/$1 (in 2008). Excellent berries this year! (2008)"

ASSURED us they'd be open daily 8 to 8. Then when we arrived Friday, after an hour drive, they were closed. We called, and they said they weren't opening that day - not enough fruit - would open the next day at 8 am (it was 5 pm).
