the green option for a time honoured tradition Christmas Tree Keng presents
you with the option of choosing a ‘green’ Christmas Tree for your Christmas
festivities. While establishing Keng’s Christmas Tree plantation, trees were
planted, but none were harvested. This rotating crop of actively growing
trees captures carbon and locks it away, assisting in the reduction of
global warming. The farm now stays carbon neutral by replacing the trees
harvested and sold each year. As well, one acre of actively growing
Christmas Trees produces the oxygen requirement of 18 people, the plantation
of young trees producing oxygen more efficiently than old growth trees.
Compare this with artificial Christmas trees, the production of which
contributes to global warming. So rediscover the time-honoured tradition of
a fresh Christmas tree. Take a stroll among the hundreds of Christmas trees
that have been beautifully pruned for you by Keng and his family. Make your
selection, decorate your very own real Christmas Tree and fill your home
with the fresh scent of the Monterey Pine for the festive season. Christmas
Tree Keng and his family have been supplying Christmas Trees to the Canberra
community for 16 years now. This is the fifth year they have been selling
direct from the farm, from which they supply the freshest and the best
quality Christmas Trees to you at the best price.
