Review

No pick-your-own, but they have a good variety of apples,  and a convenient location right on the by-pass, directly opposite Panarama. And the farm market is like stepping back in time!  It's got quite the assortment: Pumpkins and Gourds, Fresh Apple Fritters, Fried Apple or Peach Pies, Apple Cider Donuts, Apple Bread, Whole Baked Apple Pies, Candy and Caramel Apples, Hot Boiled or Roasted Peanuts , Fried Pork Skins—various flavors, Apple chips—various flavors, Hot Spiced Cider, Cider Slushies—various flavors, Fresh Apple Cider , Caramel dip, Dried fruits, Peanut Brittle and Candies, Stone Ground Grits and Corn Meal, Jams, Jellies, Preserves, Sauces, Locally grown honey and sorghum syrup, Locally processed meats, Farm Fresh eggs, Children’s Books/Puzzles, Comfort Color Shirts, Sweatshirt & Hats, Kitchen Gadgets, Ellijay Candles - fall scents, Ellijay Christmas Ornaments , Homemade Soaps - fall scents , Mulling Mixes.

Below is a listing of the apple varieties that they typically carry, in order that they typically start to be harvested in Ellijay. Be sure to call a couple weeks before they are due to start harvesting, as the actual date varies from year to year! Ellijay apple orchards usually have apples for sale from August to late December.
