Cullman is located in the Bankhead & Sipsey Wilderness Region of North Alabama. A myriad of arts & crafts along with craft and food vendors, sweet potatoes, music, a car show, and lots of food and family fun abounds at this festival.

Livingston Annual Sweet Potato Festival - late September, several days long
Max Foster Sports Complex, 2600 Walnut Avenue Livingston, CA. The City of Livingston brings to you an event for families to celebrate the Sweet Potato Harvest. This year's event will be held on September 22,23,24 at the Max Foster Sports Complex, 2600 Walnut Avenue Livingston. There will be a carnival, live bands, entertainment, Pro Wrestling, Lucha Libre, A Corn Hole Tournament, Kid Zone, Recipe Contests, Sweet Potato Education Exhibit, Real Camels, Farmers Market, Culinary Exhibit and numerous activities geared towards sweet potatoes. Every food vendor will have a sweet potato specialty item.Their website seems to be under construction, you may find more current information on the City of Livingston website.. This family oriented and unique festival not only represents the beloved sweet potato but hosts most of it's activities in honor of it. Here is a list of Activities you will find at this years Festival Huge Carnival, KIDZONE, Sweet Potato Education Exhibit, Recipe contest, Corn Hole Tournament, Petting Zoo, Pony Rides, Real Camel, Face Painting, Sweet Potato Ice Cream, Sweet Potato Cupcakes, Pro Wrestling, Lucha Libre, top tier entertainment and huge variety of food vendors and a Farmers Market! Each food vendor is required by the festival to offer an item on their menu featuring sweet potatoes. Admission to the festival is FREE. the concerts are $5 in advance and $10 at the stage gate. Exhibits, KIDZONE and demonstrations are all free. Parking is $5.

Lower Richland Sweet Potato Fest - Late April
This Festival was designed to bring family, friends and the community together. It started as a small community event, but now has grown over the years to reach out to all the counties and states to enjoy what the Lower Richland Festival has to offer. The Festival is also designed to cater to all ages. There will be prizes for the Sweet Potato Contest and the Crafts. Entertainment includes a parade starting at 11am, praise dancers, mime, step team, drum line, health fair, live band, arts & craft games, music, carnival rides for the children with face painting and more. Our emcee will be the great Curtis Wilson again this year along with talented performers and musicians to be announced soon. We look forward to a great time with friends and family so bring your lawn chairs. This is a FREE event. - South Carolina Sweet Potato Festival - the second

Sweet Potato Festival includes more than 100 craft, food, and arts vendors, live entertainment, music, puppets, exhibits, an antique car show, appearances by Spud, and plenty of funnel cakes and sweet potato pies! The Pilot Club of Darlington sponsors the South Carolina Sweet Potato Festival held the second Saturday of October each year. More than 30,000 people gathered on the Public Square in Darlington during the 25th S.C. Sweet Potato Festival in 2007, and the event continues to be a success, raising funds for community projects including those that develop youth, provide service and education, and uplift families. More than 80 vendors attended the festival in 2007 with entertainment held on the stage beside the Darlington County Courthouse.
