It looks like many festivals are returning for 2021, with the possible exception of some in states like California, Michigan, New York. Even so, many festivals will not finalize or announce their plans until the last minute, so when we have not seen an update, we've left last year's data below and suggest you see the festivals website or call the festival as the date gets close to see if they will hold it this year.

2021 Missouri Strawberry Festivals - Where, When and More Details!

Missouri

There are two general types of strawberry festivals 1) community festivals, usually organized by a church, school, local Chamber of commerce or a town and 2). Strawberry festival held at and by a farm

They are different in what they offer, so they are grouped separately. (of course not all states and areas have both. And following the festival listings are links to our easy to follow directions about making strawberry jam, freezing strawberries, strawberry pies and much more.

Community Strawberry Festivals

  • Kimmswick Strawberry Festival - early June every year ( check their website for this year's dates)
    Downtown Kimmswick, MO. Jefferson County. Phone: 636-464-7407. Email: [email protected]. Come to our small community and shop at our more than 30 unique shops, eat any of our four restaurants with plenty of outdoor sitting areas. The streets and grass fields will be lined with hundreds of homemade craft, direct sInquiry from a visitor to www.PickYourOwn.org/strawberryfestivals.phpales, corporate sponsor and food booths. There is something for everyone! Crafters and food vendors line the streets offering Strawberry Shortcake, Chocolate Covered Strawberries, and Strawberry Cheesecake and more. There is a petting zoo, train rides, pony rides, bounce houses, small children's rides, games for the kids, face painters, and caricature artists. The town also has an Apple Butter Festival in October.
  • Lawson United Methodist Church Annual Strawberry Festival - Saturday, in mid-July from 11:30 PM to 2:30 PM
    504 N Pennsylvania Ave Lawson, MO 64062. Open to the public. The annual Strawberry Festival in the air-conditioned basement of Lawson Methodist Church at 5th & Penn., during the Lawson Picnic. Stop in for lunch after the disc golf tournament or before The Gospelaires concert! The menu includes sloppy joes, hot dogs, potato chips, cakes, cookies, strawberries, and homemade ice cream. This fundraiser supports various missions of the congregation.
  • Vaile Mansion Strawberry Festival - First Saturday in June, from 9 AM to 4 PM
    1500 N. Liberty St. Independence, MO 64050. Phone: (816) 229-8293. Free admission to grounds; Mansion Tour: (2018 prices) Adults $6.00 | Children $3.0. A hundred craft and antique dealers will be set up around the Mansion. The Vaile Society will be selling Strawberry Treats!

Farm Strawberry Festivals

In addition to community and church festivals, some private farms have their own strawberry festivals in June. See each farm for this year's dates (they often do not announce them until the end of May). They usually have PYO strawberries then, too.
