Update for 2021 and Coronavirus:

It looks like many festivals are returning for 2021, with the possible exception of some in states like California, Michigan, New York. Even so, many festivals will not finalize or announce their plans until the last minute, so when we have not seen an update, we've left last year's data below and suggest you see the festivals website or call the festival as the date gets close to see if they will hold it this year.

All the strawberry festivals in Georgia we can find are listed on this page! If you love strawberries, look for a festival near you below! And I'm always looking for more strawberry festivals! Please write me, if you know of any to add!  I update the dates as soon as the festivals publish their information, but you can always click on the links (usually the name of the festival) to see the current information on the festival's own website.

2021 Georgia Strawberry Festivals - Where, When and More Details!

There are two general types of strawberry festivals 1) community festivals, usually organized by a church, school, local Chamber of commerce or a town and 2). Strawberry festival held at and by a farm

They are different in what they offer, so they are grouped separately. (of course not all states and areas have both. And following the festival listings are links to our easy to follow directions about making strawberry jam, freezing strawberries, strawberry pies and much more. 

Community Strawberry Festivals

  • Georgia Strawberry Festival - Late April (April 27, 2019)
    Downtown Reynolds, GA. Phone: 478-847-5301. Open: see their website for this year's date and times. Directions: Map of Reynolds, GA. It is FREE to get in. This festival is Handicapped accessible. They will have a Teddy Bear Parade (which begins at 10:00 am), a Grand Parade, Arts and Crafts, a Car / Truck Show, Photography Show, Lawn Mower Races, a Cook-off, an Old Book Sale, and a Main Street Stage.  You can find much more specific information about what is going on with the Strawberry Festival on the "Press" Page.

Farm Strawberry Festivals

In addition to community and church festivals, some private farms have their own strawberry festivals in June.  See each farm for this year's dates (they often do not announce them until the end of May).   • Mitcham Farm Strawberry Festival Makin' Memories Pickin' Strawberries - usually late April or early May, Saturday, May 1, 2021 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, May 2, 2021 from 1 to 5 p.m.
    Mitcham Farm, 797 Macedonia Church Rd, Oxford, Georgia 30054. Don't miss the 6th Annual Srawberry Festival at Mitcham Farm! This event is fun for the whole family with something for everyone! The festival features u-pick strawberries, pre-picked strawberries and other specialty food items for sale, craft vendors, food and drink, live music, hayrides, pony rides, helicopter rides, farm animal viewing area, tractor demonstrations, and other fun! Strawberry picking will be open while supply lasts. The farm is located just 30 miles east of downtown Atlanta, less than 5 miles from Interstate 20.  In 2021, Admission $5, Children 3 and under FREE
