Peach Festivals in Tennessee in 2024: Where, When and More to Find a Peach Festival Near You!

Peaches typically ripen from May (in northern Florida and Texas) through June, July and August in the mid-Atlantic, Midwest and New England. July dominates as the month for peach production (and festivals) Unlike strawberries, which grow almost anywhere, peaches are grown commercially in half as many states.

There are two general types of peach festivals 1) community festivals, usually organized by a church, school, local Chamber of commerce or a town and 2). Peach festival held at and by a farm. They are different in what they offer, and community festivals tend to be less expensive so they are grouped separately. (of course not all states and areas have both.)

Community Peach Festivals

• Chattanooga Market Peach Festival - a Sunday in mid July, in 2023, it is on Jukly 9, 2023
  First Tennessee Pavilion, 1826 Carter Street, Chattanooga TN. Market visitors will find peach farms with a variety of peaches ready to take home. Adding to the festival, Market vendors will join in the theme to create other products utilizing fresh peaches: lemonade, cobbler, lotions/candles, salsas and more. For peach aficionados, on hand will be Sierra Gem freestone peaches (Melon Patch Farms), July Prince freestone peaches (Hazelrig Orchards and Watsonia Farms). Sunday Funday would not be complete without live music on the Lodge Cast Iron Sizzle Stage. Performing on Sunday, Tyler Martelli and Friends beginning at 12:30pm. Both Collegedale Market and Chattanooga River Market continue throughout the summer. Each features a unique vibe and alternate location. Collegedale Market is a morning farmers and artists market open Sundays 10 am to 2 pm. Held at The Commons in Collegedale, it's a smaller version of the well known downtown Market. Chattanooga River Market is primarily an artists market, with some take and go artisan foods as well. That Market is on the Tennessee Aquarium Plaza from 10 am to 5 pm each Saturday.
• Murfreesboro Peach Cobbler Festival - held on a Saturday in mid-August; Saturday, August 12, 2023, 2023 will be the 2nd Annual
  Lane-Agri Park, 315 John R Rice Blvd. Murfreesboro, TN Phone: 931-952-0472. There will be a $5 Peach Cobbler Taste Test, 80-100 Craft Vendors, Food trucks, Live Music. Brianna Victory Events
  This event is right off of the interstate in Murfreesboro, TN. On the same road as Sam's club! FREE ADMISSION & FREE PARKING.  This event is rain or shine. Bring a camera or phone to take FREE PICTURES with Miss Peachy
  10am-5pm: Vendors
  10am- 3pm: LIVE MUSIC : NOT ASHAMED
  11AM - TILL WE RUN OUT: $5 Peach cobbler taste test ( vote for your favorite one)

• 12 South Farmers Market Peach Fest - TUESDAY, in JUNE from 4 PM to 7 PM
  Sevier Park, 3021 Lealand Ln, Nashville, TN 37204. Live music, food trucks, 50+ local farms & vendors, peach baking contest, family friendly activities, and more!

In addition to community and church festivals, some private farms have their own peach festivals.  See each farm for this year's dates (they often do not announce them until the end of May).
