It looks like most festivals are returning, aside from those that were killed off by the lockdowns of the past 2 years. That took a heavy toll on their finances. I am checking with them day by day, if you have an update for an, please tell me via the Feedback form.

There are two general types of strawberry festivals 1) community festivals, usually organized by a church, school, local Chamber of commerce or a town and 2). Strawberry festival held at and by a farm

They are different in what they offer, so they are grouped separately. (of course not all states and areas have both. And following the festival listings are links to our easy to follow directions about making strawberry jam, freezing strawberries, strawberry pies and much more.

Community Strawberry Festivals

  • Bellevue Strawberry Festival - UPDATE for 2022, Hasn't been held since COVID, it appears to have been a victim of the COVID lockdown policies
    Crossroads Park, Bellevue, WA. Phone: 425-450-1049. Email: info@bellevuestrawberryfestival.org. The festival is a revitialization of an old Bellevue tradition, dating back to when strawberry farming was one of the region's most famous activities. The festival has been held in various places around Bellevue, starting (in its recent incarnation) on Main Street in Old Bellevue, moving to the downtown park, and most recently in the Crossroads Park. We celebrate Strawberries and community on the fourth weekend of June. Entertainment, an auto show, vendors, food, and family fun are all highly visible parts of the festivities. And, you will very likely see a strawberry or two (shortcake eating contests, strawberry flats, chocolate covered strawberries, and much more). This family oriented, historic community event features: Fresh, Strawberry Shortcake, Historical and agricultural displays, Games, clowns and face painting, Strawberry shortcake eating contests, Musical, artistic, athletic and dramatic Entertainment, Classic Automobiles, Food & Vendor Booths, Touch-a-Truck Event, And much, much more!. There is no charge for the contests. There is no charge to enter the festival, or for viewing the auto show, entrance to the Festival grounds, viewing or participating in any of the heritage events, viewing entertainment, or browsing any of the booths.Saturday and Sunday in late June - on Saturday from 10 am to 8 pm, Sunday from 10 am to 6 pm
  • Burlington Annual Berry Dairy Days - mid June every year; 
    Downtown Burlington, Fairhaven Avenue, Burlington, WA. 98233. We are thrilled to announce that the full Berry Dairy Days festival will return to downtown Burlington,. Planning for the festival is in full swing and we are looking forward to the return of the Strawberry Shortcake Booth, Grand Parade, Kids Zone, Entertainment Stage, Vendor Fair, BBQ Battle, and Berry Cool Car Show, among other events. The Berry Dairy Days festival is co-hosted by the Burlington Chamber of Commerce and the City of Burlington. Annual United General Hospital. Berry Dairy Days is one of the oldest festivals in Skagit County celebrating Burlington's history of agricultural and farming communities. 2018 marks the 81st Annual Berry Dairy Days presented by Skagit Bank. On the third weekend of June Burlington will explode with family fun activities, delicious food and be a place you won't want to miss.   • Burien Annual Heritage Fair and Strawberry Days Festival - annually in mid June; from 10am to 4pm; in 2022; June 18, 2022 and June 19. 2022
    Burien Town Square Park, 480 Southwest 152nd Street , Burien, WA. The Burien Heritage Fair and Strawberry Festival is held every year in late June in Burien, Washington. Burien is a formerly rural, now suburban area south of Seattle.   • Marysville Strawberry Festival - a week long in early June; in 2022; June 11, 2022 to June 19, 2022
    Marysville, WA. The first festival was held in 1932. The Marysville Strawberry Festival is one of the oldest continuing festivals held in the State of Washington. (over 75 years) Held in Downtown Marysville in beautiful Snohomish County, the Strawberry Festival has many events for the entire family. See this page for a schedule of events!
  • Moran Prairie Grange Strawberry Festival - Saturday in May, from 10 am to 4 pm; UPDATE for 2022, Hasn't been held the past 2 years and it is canceled again in 2022

  • Vashon Island Strawberry Festival - Friday to Sunday in early or mid-July; in 2022; July 15, 2022 to July 22, 2022
    Vashon Island, WA. Various locations, the main events are primarily between Cove Road and Bank Road on Vashon Highway. Beer Garden: Starts at 7 Pm on Friday Night July 21st. Opens Noon on Saturday and on Sunday at 11 AM until 5 PM! Pancake Breakfast Starts Saturday 7 Am and Sunday at 8 Am, in the Vashon Market IGA parking lot. VENDOR/ARTIST BOOTHS Open Saturday 10 am - 7 pm/Sunday 10 am - 5 pm. Grand Parade - Saturday 11 am with Kids Parade first. Portage Fill Street Dance Saturday 7 PM to 9 PM outside Sporty's. In addition to community and church festivals, some private farms have their own strawberry festivals in June. See each farm for this year's dates (they often do not announce them until the end of May). They usually have PYO strawberries then, too.
