It looks like most festivals are returning, aside from those that were killed off by the lockdowns of the past 2 years. That took a heavy toll on their finances. I am checking with them day by day, if you have an update for an, please tell me via the Feedback form.

All the strawberry festivals in Maine we can find are listed on this page! If you love strawberries, look for a festival near you below! And I'm always looking for more strawberry festivals! Please write me, if you know of any to add!  I update the dates as soon as the festivals publish their information, but you can always click on the links (usually the name of the festival) to see the current information on the festival's own website.

2024 Maine Strawberry Festivals - Where, When and More Details!

There are two general types of strawberry festivals 1) community festivals, usually organized by a church, school, local Chamber of commerce or a town and 2). Strawberry festival held at and by a farm

They are different in what they offer, so they are grouped separately. (of course not all states and areas have both. And following the festival listings are links to our easy to follow directions about making strawberry jam, freezing strawberries, strawberry pies and much more. 

Community Strawberry Festivals

  • Cornish Annual Strawberry Festival -   held on the last Saturday of June
    18-24 Main Street, Cornish, ME 04020. Phone: 207-625-4993. Alternate phone: 207-625-7725. Email: fullcirclegallery@yahoo.com. The Cornish Association of Businesses (CAB) sponsors this charming, all ages event on each year in Historic Cornish Village located in the scenic Western mountain and lakes region of Maine on Route 25 - 30 miles West of Portland and 9 miles East of the New Hampshire border.
  • Rangely Lakes Strawberry Festival - mid-July, annually, from 10 am to 3 pm. July 14, 2022
    Oquossoc Village Town Park, Rangely Lakes, Maine. Phone: 207-864-2651 for more information Enjoy the Blueberry Season with this annual festival featuring pies, crafts & gifts, vendors, and children activities.
    This takes place at Oquossoc Village Town Park. Fresh Strawberry shortcake, crafts food & lots more is offered public enjoyment.

  • South Berwick Strawberry Festival - Saturday, Late June (check their website for this year's dates)
    Central School, South Berwick, ME. Phone: (207) 704-0332.  Email: sbsf.info1@gmail.com. Most activities are held at the Central School Grounds, the pancake breakfast is at the Central School food court.  See their website for the complete schedule. Offers entertainment, shopping, delicious cuisine, game activities, and fun for the entire family. South Berwick Strawberry Festival Facebook page. Held annually since 1975, Always the last Saturday in June, the South Berwick Strawberry Festival officially kicks off summer for this quaint, southern Maine town of South Berwick. All over town one can see the bright red, white, and green strawberry flags that not only line the main streets, but can also be seen flying from many houses. The day is filled with food, entertainment, games, and crafts.
  • St. Andrews Presbyterian Church Strawberry Festival and Craft Fair - June - call!
    St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, 7 Portland Road, Kennebunk, ME. Phone: 207 985/4303.
  • Washington Strawberry Festival - Held annually in early July;  from 12 PM to 3 PM
    40 Old Union Road, Washington, ME 04574. Phone: (207) 458-0340. Email: washingtonladiesguild@gmail.com. The festival has taken place for 76 years!. Payment: Cash, Check, Debit cards, Visa, MasterCard, Free, no payments needed, unless you buy from concessions/vendors . The live music will be performed by a local band known as Gardenia, members include Dick White and Cindy Millar. The dynamic duo will perform a wide range of musical selections such as hits from today and the golden oldies! All the profits from the festival will be funneled back into the Washington community through scholarships funds, food banks, and support of the town's church and volunteer fire department. The festival is kid friendly! There will be room for them to run, games and activities for all ages! Click here for our Facebook page.
