    Highway 181, Papalote, TX, 78387. Phone: 361-287-3506. They are open about spring time to summer time. Cash Only. They also have prepicked Squash, Tomatoes, Cucumber, Watermelon, Okra, Corn, Cantelope, Bell Peppers. Zucchini, onions, and potatoes on their farmstand. (ADDED: May 18, 2008)

  • Adamek Orchards—Blackberries, peaches.
    490 FM 966, Yoakum, TX. Phone: 361-293-7860. adamekjanet@Yahoo.com. Directions: West of Yoakum on Highway 111, 3-one half miles to Petersville, go north on FM 966 one half mile to the red roof house on the left.  click here for a map and directions.  Open: April or early May, please check their website for updates; otherwise, daily from 6 am until 6 pm (that is, seven days a week). Adamek Orchards is a family owned and operated peach orchard, established in 1985. We have 12,000 trees on over 160 acres. We also have three blackberry patches. Adamek Orchards has one of the largest pick your own orchards in the state of Texas. Starting around the end of April until June, people come from miles around to take advantage of the juicy peaches and low price of only 50 cents a pound. We offer pick your own blackberries for a dollar a pound. Wear sturdy shoes. We provide free boxes. We also have peaches for sale inside our country store.  (ADDED June 6, 2008)
